How To Make A Homemade Honey Face Mask

Homemade face masks are great; they cost less, are fun to make, and are much healthier for your skin. This honey facial mask is great for all skin types and will leave your skin looking and feeling silky smooth. It’s surprisingly easy to make and only requires a few household ingredients:

1) 1 Raw Egg
2) 2 Tablespoons Of Honey
3) Splash Of Milk
4) 1/2 Pureed Dried Apricots
or 1 tsp Of Vitamin E Oil

Heads up: if you have dry skin make sure you use the egg yolk. If you have normal to oily skin use the egg whites. Once you’ve got all that covered, combine the egg with 2 tbsp of honey and mix. Then add the vitamin E oil, and a splash of milk. (If you use too much milk the consistency of the facial mask will be too liquid, and the mask will not apply properly)

To Apply the Mask:

1. Make sure your face is thoroughly clean. Rinse your face with hot water to open up your pores and then gently pat dry.

2. With your fingers begin applying mask all over your face in a circular motion.

3. Let the mask sit for 10-20 minutes, then rinse with cool water to close pours.

4. After you're done, you can use an acne fighting cream or your regular moisturizer before applying your makeup. You will most definitely love the results and will want to use this every few days. We say, go right ahead...indulge yourself!

Oh and just in case it needs to be said, do NOT use this mask if you are allergic to any of the ingredients!!! There, we said it. Enjoy!

How To Do An Earthy Smokey Eye

Lets face it, Smokey Eyes are pretty much the holy grail of makeup. If you haven't already rocked the look, you've probably already (unsuccessfully) attempted it or maybe haven't yet built up the courage to even try it. If you've been dying to do a smokey eye but aren't sure if you could pull off the look, you've come to the right place. We'll teach you how to do an easy, off-the-runway, earthy smokey eye in just 10 minutes!

1.
Start off with a clean lid and apply a primer to hold everything in place.

2.
Brush on a shimmery bronze eyeshadow and cover your lid completely.

3.
Use a dark brown shadow for you creases, sweeping in a half-moon shape across the top of your eye. Apply a thin line along your bottom lash line. Use a blending brush to blend the colors together.

4.
Bring out some highlights by applying a lighter shade, such as champagne or cream, under the brow and in the corners of your eyes.

5.
Line the top and bottom lashes with either a charcoal or black pencil liner. Blend it in with your shadow brush or gently smudge the liner, carefully working it into the eyeshadow.

6.
Finish it off a few coats of mascara, and voila, Smokey Eye!
