The Bronzer Basics

To Bronze Or Not To Bronze?
Bronzer's are a great alternative to getting that sun kissed glow without the damage caused by those pesky UV rays. Wear it alone to give you some color, or apply it over your base tan to give you that extra glow.

TIP: Check out the image for a guide on where to apply the bronzer for maximum highlight benefits!

Building a Foundation:
Using a base foundation really depends on your personal preference, and what makes you feel more comfortable in your skin. You can wear it under your bronzer to even out your skin tone, or you can skip the step altogether. Just remember, your foundation should be about one shade warmer than your skin tone.

Choices, Choices:
When choosing a bronzer, make sure to choose the right shade for your skin tone and overall complexion. You don't want a bronzer that's too dark or too strong, your bronzer should be about two shades darker than your skin tone, you can test it on your jawline, to make sure the color matches. Then, start applying it gradually using a bronzer brush while highlighting the outer corners of your face first (or the places where the sun hits you first) and working your way to the center. Feel free to add a light blush or translucent powder over your cheeks for an extra touch of color.
